g-company, Google’s first partner in Northern Europe, announced the acquisition by Xebia, solidifying its position as a leading Google Cloud Partner. IMPROVED acted as the exclusive financial advisor to the shareholders in g-company on the successful sale to Xebia. This transaction marks IMPROVED’s 13th transaction in 2021 and substantiates our strong track record of supporting founder-led fast-growing technology companies on successful sell-side or growth financing transactions.
In 2007, as Google introduced its first business solution, David Saris launched g-company. The company has grown alongside the IT multinational ever since. With over 70 people now working from Malaysia, Belgium, and the Netherlands, g-company offers application development, data, machine learning, modern infrastructure, and web-based workplace services to hundreds of customers worldwide, of which most have their headquarters in the Benelux.
Xebia offers high-quality cloud, data, AI, Agile, DevOps, and software consulting. The fast-growing organisation houses multiple brands, each covering a digital domain. With g-company, Xebia looks forward to expanding its GCP and Google Workspace services and having the extra resources to accelerate its customers GCP migrations. After the merger, g-company and Xebia will remain Google Cloud Premier Partner and Authorised Google Cloud Training Partner, including a shared Infrastructure and Workspace Competency. g-company will continue to operate under its own label and the existing management of David Saris and Lennart Benoot.
