The Mobility House AG (“The Mobility House”), the pioneer in EV charging, V2G and energy, today announces the combination of its North American business with EDFR DS PowerFlex Holdings, LLC (“PowerFlex”), a US cleantech company active in EV charging, energy management, solar and battery storage. Under the share exchange, The Mobility House receives a minority stake in PowerFlex and remains invested in the growth of the combined business.
The Mobility House North America is a leader in intelligent charging for school buses, transit and fleet depots across the US and Canada. Through ChargePilot, its charge and energy management system, the company manages more than 100MW of charging capacity for over 150 fleet operators, with a manufacturer-independent platform compatible with more than 80 charger models. Its hybrid cloud-and-edge architecture supports reliable charging operations even under grid constraints, while Cascade, its vehicle-grid integration platform (“VGI”), enables electric fleets to provide grid flexibility services such as demand response.
This combination brings together two companies with highly complementary strengths. From a product perspective, The Mobility House North America contributes its charge management platform and VGI technology, while PowerFlex adds its PowerFlex X platform for EV charging, solar, battery storage and energy management. Together, this creates a broader platform for fleet electrification.
Following the divestment of its European fleet solutions business unit to Edenred earlier this year, we are proud to have supported The Mobility House on its fourth important strategic transaction, further reinforcing a trusted relationship that spans multiple transactions and growth phases.
