The Mobility House AG (“The Mobility House”), the pioneer in EV charging, V2G and energy, today announces the combination of its North American business with EDFR DS PowerFlex Holdings, LLC (“PowerFlex”), a US cleantech company active in EV charging, energy management, solar and battery storage. Under the share exchange, The Mobility House receives a minority stake in PowerFlex and remains invested in the growth of the combined business.

The Mobility House North America is a leader in intelligent charging for school buses, transit and fleet depots across the US and Canada. Through ChargePilot, its charge and energy management system, the company manages more than 100MW of charging capacity for over 150 fleet operators, with a manufacturer-independent platform compatible with more than 80 charger models. Its hybrid cloud-and-edge architecture supports reliable charging operations even under grid constraints, while Cascade, its vehicle-grid integration platform (“VGI”), enables electric fleets to provide grid flexibility services such as demand response.

This combination brings together two companies with highly complementary strengths. From a product perspective, The Mobility House North America contributes its charge management platform and VGI technology, while PowerFlex adds its PowerFlex X platform for EV charging, solar, battery storage and energy management. Together, this creates a broader platform for fleet electrification.

Following the divestment of its European fleet solutions business unit to Edenred earlier this year, we are proud to have supported The Mobility House on its fourth important strategic transaction, further reinforcing a trusted relationship that spans multiple transactions and growth phases.

"We built The Mobility House North America from the ground up into a leader in charging for large bus and fleet depots. With PowerFlex it gains the reach and complementary capabilities for its next phase of growth, and we remain invested as a shareholder, while we focus The Mobility House even more clearly on our European energy and V2G/V2H business."

Thomas Raffeiner

Founder & CEO, The Mobility House

"At The Mobility House North America, we've established a leadership position in fleet vehicle-grid integration and built the most advanced charge management system for the public transit and school bus segments. This combination is the start of an exciting new chapter. We can now bring a far broader set of energy capabilities to the customers who have trusted us, and take the solutions we've built to PowerFlex's customers and to new markets across North America. I couldn't be more excited about what we will build together."

Gregor Hintler

CEO, The Mobility House North America

“This marks our fourth transaction alongside TMH, and it's been a privilege to be part of their growth story. The sale of the North American business to PowerFlex allows TMH to sharpen its focus, while remaining invested in the platform's success. This is our second deal in the US this year, and we are proud to have helped TMH secure the best new owner for its North American business, capitalising on the ongoing consolidation wave in the market."
