SDB Ayton, the specialist in SaaS-based HR, planning, payroll, and ECD software for the healthcare market based in The Hague, acquired Reports in Almere to accelerate growth together. The Reports management team will continue to be involved with the business as part of SDB Ayton. After the acquisition of Cormel in November 2018, this is the second acquisition of SDB Ayton in its strategy to serve the care sector in the Netherlands with a full-suite of products. The addition of Reports to SDB Ayton results in an organization with more than 120 employees who have the common goal of unburdening as many Dutch healthcare institutions as possible with smart solutions and a broad product portfolio. The Business Intelligence solutions of Reports connect seamlessly with the ECD, Planning, HR and Salary software of SDB Ayton and offer SDB Ayton the opportunity to be the only party to be able to offer its customers a full-suite SaaS solution with BI and Analytics applications.
Reports, founded in 2006, develops and operates an open and transparent data platform that offers customers the opportunity to efficiently access, bundle and analyze various data flows. The platform enables customers to process large amounts of data and gain insight into operational results and KPIs through intuitive management dashboards. With the help of Reports, customers gain insight into historical results, but above all the platform helps healthcare institutions to map out future improvements and implement them effectively. Reports mainly focuses on the Dutch healthcare market, serving clients in the VVT, GHZ, JGZ and GGZ sectors. In addition, Reports has a number of Dutch Implant Registries, Safety Regions and a number of organizations outside the healthcare sector as clients.
Like Reports, SDB Ayton is mainly active in the VVT and GHZ sectors, serving over 500 clients with HR, payroll, scheduling and ECD software. Due to the strong mutual complementarity in the field of products, services and customers, the combined organization will be able to respond effectively to the demand for integration of the IT landscape within healthcare institutions with a total solution. Above all, the Reports platform will be able to effectively tap into the data flows generated within the various modules of the SDB Ayton product portfolio, which will bring major benefits for full-suite users.
After the acquisition of Cormel in November 2018, the acquisition of Reports by SDB Ayton is a second step towards growing into the leading SaaS player in the Dutch healthcare market. It goes without saying that after this acquisition, the group’s focus will continue to be on developing innovative products that meet the needs of customers and trends in the Dutch healthcare market. Stimulating organic growth and utilizing the various up- and cross-sell opportunities of the combined organizations will therefore be the guiding principle of the growth strategy. It is also possible to continue the buy-and-build strategy by making targeted acquisitions. This includes acquiring adjacent technologies as well as expanding to other segments of the healthcare market, as both were achieved with the acquisition of Reports.
