Automotive and Emobility expert Dr Gregor Matthies joins IMPROVED as Associate Partner

Gregor is a seasoned Automotive and e-Mobility expert and will advise IMPROVED and its clients on efforts and engagements focused on strategy, M&A and growth financing. With Gregor on board, IMPROVED strengthens its position as the advisor of choice for entrepreneurs, corporates and investors in the Energy and Mobility sectors. Furthermore, based in Munich, Germany, Gregor extends the reach of IMPROVED in the DACH region.

Gregor is the former Head of Bain & Company’s global and highly reputable automotive practice, and with numerous (personal) investments and board positions in industry-leading E-Mobility companies, Gregor is recognised as a true expert in the space. Gregor has over 27 years of experience in the (E-) Mobility sector with a focus on corporate M&A and organisational strategy and design for Blue-Chip Car OEM, Tier-1 supplier and Automotive stakeholders in Europe, North America, China, India and Japan.

Gregor is fascinated by the enormous, disruptive change the automotive ecosystem is experiencing and has a clear vision of the future of (E-) Mobility. He advised and invested in various leading e-mobility companies such as Plugsurfing, ubitricity, Deftpower, Ampcontrol, and Aivitex. Furthermore, he is a venture partner at Earlybird and serves as an independent board member at VIRTA and FRIWO.
