Dr. Bernhard Georgii is an Associate Partner at IMPROVED.

Bernhard brings more than a decade of experience in strategy and investments, specialising in (renewable) infrastructure and energy investments. As a Partner at BCG’s Private Equity & Principal Investors practice, he advised leading PE firms, family offices, and infrastructure investors for +10 years on global projects including M&A transactions, value creation strategies and large-scale portfolio transformations. Currently, Bernhard is Managing Director of Tydera Familien Kapital, which supports small and mid-sized companies with responsible, long-term investments.

During his time at BCG, Bernhard led +50 buy- and sell-side due diligences and delivered +€500 million in value creation programs for leading financial institutions and corporates worldwide. He developed investment theses in renewables, electrification, and battery storage, shaping strategies that advanced global infrastructure and sustainability agendas. Bernhard also co-authored BCG’s annual Infrastructure Investor Report and played a key role in guiding scale-ups on growth and exit strategies, particularly in fast-evolving environments.
