At IMPROVED, he fuels this passion by contributing to impactful transactions in the transportation and energy sectors, working closely with ambitious founders and investors to transform innovative ideas into lasting growth.

Before joining IMPROVED, Daan gained valuable experience assessing investment opportunities from an investor’s perspective. This, combined with his commercial mindset and strong stakeholder-management skills, enables him to connect both sides of the table and help build lasting partnerships.

Daan holds a Master’s degree in Financial Management from Nyenrode Business University and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a major in Automotive Business Management. He has a strong affinity with international environments and cultures, which was further developed while he lived in Barcelona to learn Spanish. These international influences also shaped Daan’s passion for cooking and exploring new cuisines. Outside of work, he is passionate about sports and enjoys running, going to the gym, and playing football.
