Brian brings more than 25 years of experience in founding, scaling, and advising pioneering companies at the intersection of energy storage, AI, and infrastructure. He adds strategic depth and operational expertise to IMPROVED’s team.

He is the Founder and former CEO of Stem, Inc. (NYSE: STEM), the world’s first AI-powered energy storage platform—now operating the largest commercial storage network globally. He also co-founded CRE Simple, a fintech platform that managed over $16 billion in real estate transactions.

Brian’s work spans grid flexibility, energy automation, and storage-enabled infrastructure innovation. He has held leadership and advisory roles with GE Ventures, Rubicon Labs, and Bridge to Renewables, and is currently part of Offline Studios—a venture studio focused on breakthrough solutions in energy and infrastructure.
